Benidorm, unlike many other cities, has embraced a vertical growth model reminiscent of the world’s largest metropolises. By building upward rather than outward, Benidorm maximizes its limited space, resulting in more efficient infrastructure and reduced transportation costs. This approach also has a positive impact on the environment. Notably, as of April 2022, the city boasts “the best unemployment results in 14 years,” demonstrating its commitment not only to sustainability but also to the prosperity of its residents.
