The ENIT’s monthly overview of Italy’s tourism industry reveals that in May 2024, 34% of accommodation facilities in Italy were booked through online platforms, compared to 41% in Spain. Italy remains more affordable than its competitors, with an average nightly rate of EUR 126 with the most popular destinations are art cities (51%), followed by spa resorts (41%) and lake resorts (40%). The report provides valuable insights into current tourism trends, market performance, and research on Italian destinations, presented in infographic format.
