The “HAJK – Sustainable Attractiveness, Equality and Competitiveness” project, led by Visit Värmland, seeks to boost the competitiveness of tourism businesses in Värmland, Sweden. Running from 2023 to 2025, the initiative emphasizes sustainability, digitalization, and internationalization to create appealing and equitable tourism destinations. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the project’s short-term goals include raising awareness, providing training, and implementing initial measures to ensure equal opportunities and resources for all genders, while promoting sustainable, digital, and internationalisation practices among companies and stakeholders.
