The Tourism 4.0 for the Black Sea project, funded in part by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF), operated from November 2019 to December 2021. Its primary objective was to illustrate the potential of Data Analytics in advancing tourism development in the Black Sea region. The project aimed to equip local stakeholders from both public and private sectors with a deeper understanding of current trends, tourist flow patterns, and visitor impacts. By fostering collaboration and data sharing among all stakeholders in the tourism ecosystem, the project sought to stimulate the creation of innovative tourism services and policies that address regional challenges and opportunities.
