The Tourism Sustainability Strategy in Destinations published in March 2022 and aims to position sustainability as the cornerstone of transforming the tourism model. It addresses cross-cutting issues and encourages green and digital change within the tourism sector in Spain, boosting its competitiveness, through partnership among public bodies. This approach is in line with the UN's Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals and is tailored to certain locations, taking into account their particular requirements and features.
