Based on recent data from Dataestur and NSI, the number of tourists opting for hostels over other accommodations in the first four months of 2024 reached 1.2 million, representing an 11.9% increase compared to the same period in 2023. During this time, tourists collectively spent over 2.3 million nights in hostels, averaging 2 nights per visitor. Notably, August stands out as the month with the highest hostel occupancy rate in Spain, while winter months experience the lowest rates.
