The Green Events initiative, launched on September 18, 2019, by Luxembourg’s Ministry of the Environment, Climate, and Biodiversity, aims to promote sustainable event management. It offers support and resources to event organizers, including a dedicated website, interactive info-conferences, individual guidance, and event logos. The initiative helps reduce the ecological footprint of events by providing personalized guidance and awarding the “Green Events” logo to those meeting specific environmental criteria. In 2023 alone, this project successfully supported over 200 events. (The original piece available only in French and Deutsch)
