The EIT Campus offers an online course for beginners on integrating active mobility into transport modelling. a climate action training programme for destinations in February 2024. This free, self-paced 8-hour training explores the importance of integrating walking and cycling into urban transport models to reduce congestion and improve quality of life. It covers the paradigm shift needed to assess the effectiveness of active mobility measures, the challenges of multimodal transport, and the roles of authorities, decision-makers and citizens in this process. It also provides real-life examples which illustrate the economic, environmental, and social benefits of prioritising active mobility.The registration for the course is possible via the link provided on the website, with an opportunity to receive a certificate of completion.
