From 2021 to 2022, the economic impact of tourism in the Netherlands saw the most significant growth, with a 51.8% increase in turnover for tourism companies and a 48.0% rise in tourism added value. However, there was a 3.6% decrease in the number of companies in the tourism sector. Socially, the intensity of overnight stays grew by 30.3%, while ecologically, the CO₂ footprint of foreign visitors surged by 423.2%.
