The National Plan for Persons with Disabilities for 2026-2030, released in 2025 by the Government of the Czech Republic, aims to enhance accessibility in public spaces, focusing on buildings of public administration, healthcare and social facilities, schools, cultural institutions, and transport infrastructure. It seeks to ensure free and safe movement for all citizens, including those with disabilities, elderly individuals, parents with young children, and other groups. The Plan builds on the previous National Mobility Programme, continuing financial support for barrier removal in cities and municipalities. Funding is provided through budget chapters of various ministries and institutions responsible for public services.
