The HECTOR Project, part of Erasmus+, began in January 2023 and involves nine partners from Italy, Slovenia, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Austria, and Bulgaria. It aims to boost employability for young Europeans (18-35) in the tourism sector by offering training in core skills and specialization in experience tourism related to industrial heritage. The project, still ongoing, provides workshops to equip participants with the necessary skills to innovate in tourism, enhancing quality, sustainability, and support for local communities and the environment.
