The First Mile project, which has six partners from five European countries and is sponsored by the EU Single Market programme, was started in January 2023 and will last until December 2025. Focused on enhancing sustainability in tourism SMEs through behavioral sciences, the project is active in France, Norway, Italy, and Slovenia. By applying and testing behavioral strategies, it aims to improve tourism operations' sustainability. This initiative is key for supporting the post-COVID-19 recovery of tourism SMEs, fostering sustainable practices, and generating a positive environmental impact.
