SMARTOURISM.BG, initiated in 2015, is an ongoing research project focused on examining knowledge management practices and challenges within Bulgaria’s tourism sector. The project culminates in an annual national conference where findings, challenges, and best practices are presented. Key areas of focus include smart human resources management, innovative governance models, destination management, and tourism security.
