TExTOUR is a project funded by the EU that collaboratively designs innovative and sustainable strategies for cultural tourism to enhance deprived areas in Europe and beyond. It establishes Cultural Tourism Labs in eight pilot regions that are less known, to innovate and devise cooperative methodologies for the formulation of cultural tourism policies and strategies. The project’s objective is to harmoniously blend cultural heritage, tourism activities, and local communities, leading to a more sustainable environment, a robust economy, and contented individuals. The project is scheduled to conclude on 30 September 2024.
