Sweco released the report "Competence provision for the hospitality industry in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland" in 2023 at the request of the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth. The labour supply of the Nordic countries—Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland—is compared and contrasted with the travel and tourism industry in this study. Its objective is to increase understanding of the significant distinctions between these nations so that cutting-edge workforce development tactics and best practices can be applied. There are universal obstacles in encouraging teenagers to pursue vocational education in the tourism business, notwithstanding possible national differences in educational programmes (The original piece available only in Swedish).
