About the platform
In 2024, the European Commission published a Transition pathway for a more resilient, digital and green retail ecosystem. The transition pathway was co-created with a broad community of retail stakeholders. It identifies actions to support further the digital, green and skills transformation of the retail ecosystem, as well as improve its resilience and competitiveness. The pathway encourages stakeholders: businesses, social partners as well as national, regional and local authorities to engage in its co-implementation process.
This online platform facilitates the co-implementation of the Pathway by the ecosystem actors. The platform specifically aims at supporting the exchange of initiatives between stakeholders in the form of pledges, commitments and best practices. The objective is that stakeholders get inspired by each other’s initiatives. The platform also provides useful information, such as a mapping of policies and legislation at EU level as well as existing funding opportunities in the retail sector. It also includes a forum for interaction with the broad stakeholder community and dedicated workspaces for groups of interest.
Join the ecosystem community to learn, exchange information and share your initiatives!
