The largest call, HORIZON-CL4-2027-01 (EUR 224.7 million, 11 topics), includes topics on factory processes and automation for de- and re-manufacturing (MAT-PROD-03), advanced manufacturing for key products (MAT-PROD-02), circular advanced materials (MAT-PROD-06), materials that reduce dependence on critical raw materials (MAT-PROD-22) and pilot access schemes to technology infrastructures for start-ups and SMEs (MAT-PROD-47). The two-stage call (EUR 82.5 million, 2 topics) covers energy management in process industries and new approaches to human and AI collaboration for the workforce of the future, a topic shared with the Made in Europe and AI, Data and Robotics partnerships, and a third call (EUR 33.6 million, 2 topics) offers fast-track routes for industrial technologies and for the Chemical Industry Action Plan. With about four months between opening and the first deadline, the time to build consortia around the larger topics is short, and the Cluster 4 info days held on 14 and 15 October 2026 (listed in the calendar) present the topics in detail. A separate call on decarbonising energy-intensive industries follows in January 2027.
