VICTOR6G, a three-year project with a total budget of €5.4 million (€4.3 million publicly funded) that started in January 2026, brings together industrial partners and research institutions to develop real-time virtualisation solutions specifically for industrial 6G applications, tested in part at the 5G Industry Campus Europe.

Where PRIME-6G (covered separately above) focuses on integrating 6G with AI, robotics and cloud-edge into a manufacturing platform, VICTOR6G addresses a narrower but equally critical technical problem: an integrated solution combining wired and wireless networks that can reliably operate latency-sensitive industrial applications, including wireless extension of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and support for the industrial metaverse. For manufacturers, the distinction matters - VICTOR6G is solving the underlying network-reliability engineering problem that platform-level projects like PRIME-6G ultimately depend on.
