Angela is a social entrepreneur and the President of the ADV Romania group of social enterprises. Additionally, she is the president of the Romanian Network of Social Economy (RISE). As an Ambassador of the EU Platform for PSE, Angela says “I believe I can bridge the gap between Western and Eastern Europe through social economy, while also transferring expertise and knowledge to the two EU candidate countries – the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. In my role as a member of the National Commission for Social Economy, established in 2024 by the Ministry of Labour, Family, Youth, and Social Solidarity, I can contribute significantly to developing a favorable ecosystem for the social economy in Romania.”

 Developing strategic partnerships, social financing instruments, public procurement, advocacy, European funds, research, and innovation are key focus areas for Angela. From her point of view “I strongly believe that, as an Ambassador, I can bring added value to the Platform. As a member of national platforms such as RISE, FONSS, the Sustainability Coalition, CCIFER, and the "Social Enterprises Accelerator" cluster, I aim to bring EU-level discussions on social economy closer to Romanian practitioners while strengthening Romania's position in this sector.” Furthermore, as a member of European platforms such as Social Economy Europe, DIESIS, ENSIE, EASPD, FEBEA, D-WISE, and the Pact for Skills, Angela will work to translate local needs into strategic solutions that can be reflected in European social economy policies.
