The EU-funded Be.CULTOUR project, active from February 2021 to June 2024 under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, aimed to co-create and test sustainable, human-centred innovations for circular cultural tourism. At its conclusion, the project brought together a network of innovators, including public institutions, civil society organisations, and companies, to develop strategies, tools, and solutions for integrating a human-centred circular economy into cultural tourism.
