The European Tourism Going Green (ETGG2030) project, co-funded by the European Union’s COSME programme, aims to establish a system based on information and communication technologies for acquiring, innovating, training, and implementing sustainability knowledge. This initiative supports European tourism SMEs across the supply chain in their transition to sustainable consumption and production. The project encompasses a consortium of six business networks from six participating countries, the creation of an online knowledge base featuring best practices for transferring sustainability knowledge to SMEs, and the development of an EU-wide sustainability toolkit and training service. The pilot edition of the ETGG2030 Programme commenced in March/April 2022 with an SME Call for selecting tourism SMEs and concluded in May 2023 with the certification of the SMEs.
