The Smart Tourism Hackathon, co-organized by the EU-funded projects ReInHerit and DiGiNN, took place on January 21st and 22nd in Nicosia, Cyprus, at the CYENS Centre of Excellence. This event brought together tech enthusiasts, cultural heritage experts, and museum lovers to brainstorm and create innovative solutions for enhancing museum and cultural heritage site experiences. Teams focused on leveraging technology to improve visitor engagement, promote sustainable tourism practices, and optimize destination management. The CYENS Centre of Excellence played a crucial role in organizing and hosting this impactful initiative.
