The FEELIT project, coordinated by the University of West Attica (UNIWA), project aimed to enhance social and work inclusion for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals by developing a training curriculum for them to become travel agents. Funded by the ERASMUS+ programme, it focused on creating an online community, a VR game and educational videos to facilitate accessible tourism experiences. Running from 28 February, 2022, to 27 February, 2025, its main objectives included understanding the needs of tourists with hearing impairments, creating job opportunities for Deaf travel agents, training agents to serve Deaf customers and establishing a European online community for Deaf travellers.
