The GAP Games for Participatory Tourism project, co-funded by the European Union and Erasmus+ programme, focused on promoting innovation and sustainability in tourism through participatory approaches and bottom-up promotion of regions. Running from 2021 to 2024, five international partners collaborated to develop free online training and urban games tailored to specific cities. The project produced valuable outputs in multiple languages, including research reports, online courses and gamified urban experiences. For a detailed overview of best practices, including key objectives, examples, challenges, benefits and outcomes, please refer to the attached link.
