The EU-funded project Greenways4ALL, initiated in 2017 and spanning 18 months, aimed to advance the development of accessible tourism products associated with greenways. Led by the Spanish Railways Foundation and coordinated by the European Greenways Association, the initiative sought to enhance accessibility to and along greenways, improve the quality of tourism offerings for individuals with disabilities, and promote greenway resources as inclusive infrastructures. By fostering accessible and inclusive tourism experiences, Greenways4ALL significantly contributed to promoting social inclusion and enhancing the overall tourism experience for individuals with disabilities.
