The OUR WAY project, funded by the Interreg Europe programme, ran from June 1, 2018, to November 30, 2022. Its goal was to conserve, protect, promote, and develop Europe’s natural and cultural heritage through Greenways. The initiative aimed to enhance policy instruments for cultural and natural quality, improve governance tools, and implement specific promotion and preservation measures. It focused on boosting coordination among key stakeholders, developing governance systems, identifying best practices for Greenways protection and maintenance, securing financial instruments, and promoting Greenways development.
