The Programa FIT (Fostering Innovation in Tourism) by Turismo de Portugal promotes entrepreneurship and innovation in the tourism sector. Launched in 2016, it supports ideation, acceleration, and open innovation programs, involving over 1,400 startups and projects. The initiative has facilitated the development of pilot projects and the participation of Portuguese startups in international tourism fairs, aiming to accelerate digital and climate transformation in tourism (The original piece available only in Portuguese).
