The ViaIndustRIa application, developed between August 2021 and September 2022 in Rijeka, Croatia, offers an overview of the city’s significant industrial heritage sites. It suggests themed industrial routes for both locals and visitors to explore. The app’s interpretive writing enhances its content, making it engaging for users. By bridging the gap between recent industrial heritage and tourists, the app strengthens Rijeka’s identity as a city with a rich industrial past. Funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, the app is available in both Croatian and English, compatible with Android and iOS devices, and designed for user-friendly navigation.
