Since October 2010, the Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) has run a social inclusion program for Alzheimer's patients, offering adapted exhibition tours, cinema sessions, and history lessons on demand every Monday. Located in Barcelona, Spain, this program aims to bring art and culture to those in the early stages of Alzheimer's, as well as their carers and families, positively impacting their cognitive and emotional well-being. This initiative, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, has become a leading cultural program for Alzheimer's patients in Spain, influencing other institutions like the History Museum of Barcelona and the Contemporary Art Museum of Alicante.
