The European Union-funded Digital StoryDOING for Local Tourism project (Storydoers) seeks to empower rural communities by enhancing the digital, social, and storytelling skills of local tourism businesses. By offering free educational resources, the project aims to bridge the digital divide, boost competitiveness, and promote sustainable tourism experiences rooted in storytelling. Key outcomes include a final research report with the project’s key findings, a training package to support the digitalization of SMEs in the rural tourism sector under the Erasmus+ Program, and the Storydoers handbook.
