The DATES EU project, an initiative under the Digital Europe Programme, sought to create a European Tourism Data Space, acknowledging the critical importance of tourism data in the European digital economy. Led by ANYSOLUTION SL, the project ran from November 2022 to October 2023. By mapping the European tourism data landscape and engaging stakeholders, DATES aimed to develop a strategy roadmap for building a sustainable tourism data space, fostering innovation and competitiveness. DATES also addressed technical challenges and promoted interoperability standards, facilitating the digital transformation of SMEs in tourism and related industries.
