Located in Pécs, Hungary, the initiative led by INNOTEQ and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pécs-Baranya has been ongoing since 2018. By harnessing Extended Reality visualization solutions, including Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and GIS, they have transformed the exploration of digital collections, museum exhibitions, and archive documents into exhilarating adventures. This modernization effort not only revitalized the old museum but also enhanced its services, as evidenced by the growing number of visitors promoted by TourInform offices. By leveraging innovative technology, this initiative is crucial in elevating Cultural and Creative Tourism experiences, offering new dimensions in content presentation and fostering greater engagement with cultural heritage.
