The 31st World Travel Awards™ has unveiled its esteemed list of winners for 2024, recognizing outstanding achievements across the European travel landscape. This prestigious awards ceremony celebrates various sectors, including airlines, hotels, destinations, and tour operators, underscoring the industry's commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability. Key highlights include Lufthansa being honored as Europe’s Leading Airline, while the Azores Islands in Portugal emerged as the Leading Adventure Tourism Destination. The ceremony also recognized the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation for its impactful Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. Other notable winners include the iconic Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul, named Europe’s Leading Hotel, and the much-loved Disneyland Paris, awarded as Europe’s Leading Theme Park Resort.
