The WeNaTour project has recognised a case study on Siena, examining the province's sustainable tourism practices. It focuses on initiatives such as GSTC certification, educational and capacity builiding programs and integration of sustainability in local events. The study discusses the main challenges towards sustainability, and provides needs and strategies to respond to those challenges.
