The EU Sustainable Construction Conference 2026 will take place in Brussels as a fully in-person, one-day conference. The event will gather policymakers, representatives of cities and regions, industry stakeholders, SMEs and innovators to discuss how to deliver faster, more affordable and more sustainable construction across Europe, in the context of the upcoming Multiannual Financial Framework.
Key topics addressed during the conference include construction competitiveness, planning and permitting reform, circular construction and material markets, affordable and energy-efficient housing, climate risk and resilience, as well as the role of digital tools, artificial intelligence and procurement practices in the construction sector.
The programme will feature keynote sessions, thematic panel discussions and short presentations by SMEs, alongside dedicated networking moments. The conference is designed as a platform for policy dialogue and exchange between public authorities and market actors involved in Europe’s construction transition.
