The programme supports the upgrade of water treatment facilities, distribution pipelines, storage reservoirs and wastewater infrastructure across the Ústí nad Labem Region. Funding is being provided through the European Union's Just Transition Mechanism.

The investment forms part of efforts to support the transition of regions previously dependent on coal-related industries. Planned works include the modernisation of existing infrastructure and the deployment of updated water management technologies. The programme covers water supply and wastewater infrastructure and is intended to support the operation and maintenance of utility networks across the region.
