The main objective of the DoubleDecker project is to identify and reach endorsement for measures to increase construction capacities in Slovakia. The purpose of the measures is to foster transformation of the construction industry in Energy Efficiency (doubling the renovation rate, increasing share of deep renovations), in increasing share of renewables, technical progress in industry, new methods of education and use of information, new even more ambitions climate and energy goals, and running digitalisation into all branches. The secondary goal is to strengthen EU policies under the Build up Skills initiatives, National Status Quo analysis and Roadmap.
Specific project objectives:
Rebuilding the National Build Up Skills (BUS) Platform
Comprehensive Status Quo analysis of the construction sector (value chain) with regards to the energy efficiency in buildings.
Progress review in upskilling (Status Quo analysis).
National roadmap evaluation and updates.
Development of key policies as measures of the National Roadmap.
Contribution to the meeting the EU goals and support for development of the EU policies related to the reskilling and upskilling.
