The roadmap specifies how the Finnish property sector can achieve emission reduction targets. According to the baseline scenario, in 2035 emission reductions of 77% are foreseen, and in 2050 -88%. In the innovative solutions scenario, the reductions are -84% in 2035 and -96% in 2050. Urban development has an important role in cost-efficient emission reductions as well, infill construction and conversion of use having a significant potential. The roadmap also guides the sector to biodiversity actions within the built environment.
