EAPA co-organises every 4 years the E&E Congress where authors present their research and innovation papers. Examples of sessions in the 2024 edition were “High Performance asphalt mixtures”, “Future Mobility and Digitalisation”, “Toward carbon-neutral pavements” and “Advanced Asphalt Mixture Testing and Evaluation”.
 
EAPA also organises workshops and webinars on specific cutting-edge topics. Examples in the latest years are “Asphalt 4.0”, “the use of re-use agents for reclaimed asphalt” and “sustainability assessment of asphalt pavements”.
 
EAPA is also an active member of The European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC), The European Council for Construction Research, Development and Innovation (ECCREDI), and The International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures (RILEM).
