In 2023, Cyprus welcomed 3.9 million international tourists. Among them, 28.3% were aged 45-64, making this the largest age group, followed by the 20-31 age group at 26.9%. The 15-19 age group was the smallest, comprising only 4.4% of visitors. This trend is consistent with 2019, where the 45-64 age group also led at 27.3%, followed by the 20-31 age group at 26.2%. The increase in the share of the leading age group from 2019 to 2023 highlights a growing preference for Cyprus among older tourists.
