Tourism indicators reveal that the number of tourist arrivals in Luxembourg fell from 1,198.0 thousand in 2015 to 1,167.3 thousand in 2022, with hotels remaining the most popular accommodation.

In 2015, Luxembourg saw a peak in arrivals to accommodation establishments, with 1,198.0 thousand tourists. This number decreased to 1,167.3 thousand arrivals by 2022. Hotels and similar establishments were the most popular, accounting for 72.7% of all arrivals in 2022, while camping sites made up 18.6%. STATEC, the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, provides detailed data through a free-of-charge statistical database, which is automatically updated and allows users to explore arrivals by type of accommodation from 1960 to 2022.
