GUIDEA offers a dashboard focused on the hospitality sector in Belgium, providing insights at the municipal, provincial, and regional levels. In 2022, the Flanders region stood out with the highest number of hotels and restaurants, accounting for 38.9 thousand establishments (representing 61.2% of all catering businesses in the country). Within Flanders, restaurants held the largest share (28.8%), followed closely by fast-service establishments (26.6%). Overall, catering establishments constitute 5.8% of all enterprises in Belgium, with the highest concentration in the Brussels region (6.1%).
