The Institute of SETE-INSETE provides comprehensive data on the economic performance of hotels in Greece through its Business Intelligence platform. This dataset includes key indicators such as the number of rooms, turnover, EBIT, EBITDA, net fixed assets, equity, and long-term loans, categorised by hotel class, year, and region.

According to the data, in 2023, 4-star hotels accounted for the largest share of rooms in Greece (31%), while 5-star hotels generated the highest turnover, contributing 50% of the total. Since 2015, the number of rooms in 4- and 5-star hotels has shown a consistent upward trend, peaking in 2023. In contrast, 2- and 3-star hotels have experienced a decline in room numbers over the same period.

The platform features dynamic graphs and tables presenting key performance indicators from 2019 to 2023 in Microsoft Power BI format, enabling users to explore and analyse trends interactively. Access is available via the link on the left-hand side of the platform.
