The Marketing Information System of CzechTourism has released a dashboard analysing domestic and inbound tourism in Czechia from 2022 to 2023. It includes data on the irritation index, which measures residents’ concerns about the impact of tourism, along with irritation profiles and perceived negative effects. During this period, the overall irritation index in the Czech population averaged 2.03. In tourist-exposed localities (F2F), the index was lower at 1.89, indicating a more positive perception of tourism. The most significant sources of irritation were the negative effects on traffic and crime.
