The National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Moldova provides data on non-resident tourists accommodated in collective touristic establishments by country of origin for the period 2004–2024. In 2024, the number of foreign tourists increased significantly, with notable growth from countries such as Ukraine (96,761), Romania (51,170), and the United States (15,980). European countries remained the largest source of visitors, followed by Asia and the Americas, with marked increases from Germany, Italy, Israel, and Türkiye.
