According to Slovenian Statistical Office, 91% of all trips in Slovenia in 2023 were undertaken for personal reasons, the rest being business trips, a ratio that remained roughly consistent over the previous two years. On average, tourists spent EUR 382 per overnight stay, 11.0% more than in 2022 and 21.0% more than in 2021. Notably, the Statistical Office recorded that average expenditure per overnight stay was 13-14% higher among male tourists than female ones.  The Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia offers freely accessible detailed data through its public statistical database, allowing users to select indicators for analysis and explore Slovenia’s tourism data.
