Based on the most recent data from Dataestur, the total number of passengers in Spanish state-owned ports during the first four months of 2024 was 9.5 million, which represents a decrease of 75.9% compared to the same period in 2023. In the same period, the passenger count for cruise ships stood at 3 million, with 1,176 cruises offered in the market. Interestingly, August appears to be the most popular month for tourism in Spanish state-owned ports, while the beginning of the year is the least popular.
