Watch the recording of the online workshop held on 3 December 2024, hosted by UN Tourism, the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation of Lithuania, and the OECD. This event focused on the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in the tourism industry. The event brought together tourism professionals, industry leaders, and innovators to explore how AI can enhance decision-making, streamline operations, and create enriched travel experiences. It featured insights on balancing AI's opportunities and risks for tourism, presented by Jane Stacey, Head of Tourism at the OECD, and Antonio López De Ávila, Director of Innovation, Education, and Investments at UN Tourism. Following their presentations, experts from Turismo de Portugal, the German National Tourism Board, WhyAI, and the Korea Tourism Organization discussed AI use cases for destination management.
