The United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) has released a recording of its session held on 26 March 2025, which focused on enhancing crisis preparedness in European tourism. The session, led by Louis Bernard, founder of Crisotech, featured discussions on risk assessment, preparedness strategies, and early-warning systems. Speakers included Laura Lloyd-Braff (Technical Officer on Preparedness, WHO/EURO Emergency Programme), Ana Rita Roque (Senior Officer for International Relations, Turismo de Portugal), and Susana Grácio (Chief, Multidisciplinary Team for the Environment and Tourism Enhancement, Turismo de Portugal), who shared case studies on crisis management.
