The webinar presented the current state-of-the-art in the context of tourism education and training, highlighting innovative methodologies for skills relevance monitoring, partnership arrangements and new competencies in the tourism industry. It focused on reskilling the adult workforce to address competence-based gaps; and introduced hybrid or flexible models of training, such as apprenticeships and blended education, to meet the industry's evolving needs.

The webinar gathered representatives from the European Commission, Breda University of Applied Sciences, University of Aveiro, European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB), European Federation of Rural Tourism and European Digital Learning Network.

More information about the main discussion points and key conclusions of the webinar are presented in the Webinar Summary.
